Premise: Artists will not be submitting "songs" for this compilation. What we're looking for is audio tracks (3 to 5 minutes in length) to be used to create a greater composition (the [u]whole[/u] is greater than the sum of it's parts) that will be released in electronic format sometime in January 2009. Our standard operating procedure at Meatronic is to only accept CD-R demos, but for this non-comp the rules will be a bit more lax. Audio format must be in either WAV of AIFF (anything else will be laughed at) and you're in charge of getting the audio to us, in either CD-R format or using a file distribution site (e.g. Megaupload.com). Please do not e-mail any files directly to us. As mentioned earlier, keep your submission to 3 to 5 minutes in length, one submission per artist and please note that your submission may end up getting chopped up to utilize it in the master composition. We will make sure everyone's track gets used but cannot guarantee that everyone's track will be used in it's entirety. Submissions will be kept as pure as possible (no additional effects will be added shy of any mastering that is done) and please make sure your track is at a good respectable volume. Low recordings and black boxes of noise with no headroom will have to be adjusted accordingly to ensure they mesh well with everything else. The drop dead date for submissions is Wednesday, December 31st, 2008.

These living rooms have minds of their own. We shall also only hint about this, but there's STILL MORE coming from a certain legendary noise artist collaborating with a Meatronic guy... and craziness from all over the world continues to pour in!Florida is an overlooked state when it comes to major touring acts or national attention. It may as well be an isolated island, and musical evolution here has followed a divergent path much like the evolution of species did on Australia. So we here at Meatronic will continue to bring to you this exotic Florida musical fauna, and help you identify our international kindred!
